Planning your course

Choose your starting point before choosing your dates.

Your certifications, recent diving experience and familiarity with your equipment help us plan the right course. Share these details before finalizing your training schedule.

Which level can I start with?

For the TDI pathway, Cavern Diver requires an Open Water certification or equivalent and at least 25 logged dives. Intro to Cave requires Cavern Diver or equivalent; Full Cave requires Introductory Cave Diver or equivalent. Age and any additional prerequisites depend on the course. We review your qualifications before confirming your starting level.

Will I receive TDI or NSS-CDS certification?

The certification agency and course are agreed when planning your training. TDI and NSS-CDS have their own requirements and course structures; completing a course does not automatically award both certifications. Certification is earned by meeting the applicable knowledge, skills and performance requirements.

How many days should I plan?

Our complete Cavern, Intro to Cave and Full Cave progression is planned for a minimum of 10 training days. The individual Cavern, Intro to Cave and Full Cave courses are each listed as four days. Your starting qualifications, equipment familiarity and progress determine the final schedule; additional days may be needed.

Can I split training into separate blocks?

Yes. The progression can be planned as one continuous course or in separate blocks. We agree the sequence and dates around your experience, availability and training objectives, with a review of readiness before continuing to the next level.

Can I train in sidemount or backmount doubles?

Cave training can be planned in sidemount or backmount doubles. Tell us which configuration you use and how much recent experience you have with it. Configuration preparation and any additional training are agreed before the cave course.

How do I book cave training in Mexico?

Use the training reservation page to select your course and preferred dates. Share your certifications, recent experience and configuration so we can review the plan with you. Check the inclusions and exclusions below and read the booking policies before committing to your trip.
